Thank you feature, January 2013

Hi guys, how are you? Wishing all the best for yourselves and any projects and plans you're doing right now in your life, be related to deviantART or totally separate, and that all your resolutions for the new year start coming true very soon.

Since most of you are new to this feature and to the Friendsies (more on that later) in general, here's how it works. At some point during last month, you commented on one or more of my drawings, which you might have found on a forum thread, a group, a random search, or even directly from my gallery or your deviantWATCH. So then, for every one drawing you commented, I picked another deviation from your gallery to have it featured here, as a way to thank you for those couple minutes of your time it took you to look at whatever drawing(s) you eventually commented on.

And while you try to look for a deviation you recognize because it's yours, I also invite you to look at the amazing art done by other artists who also participated on this feature. Enjoy!

Even though I can't promise how many exposure you'll get from it, try to see it as my personal way to thank you for your useful support and feedback to the ongoing Friendsies project, since I appreciate each and every comment I get from people like you. Of course, you're absolutely more than welcome to continue participating month after month even if it's with just one or two deviations featured, and in the meantime, get to know all about the girls known as the Friendsies.

And now you might ask, who are the Friendsies? They are any of the 8 girls who appear in most of my gallery. They're really curious and excited about meeting people and make new friends every day! The best way to learn about them is by looking at their drawings right here, as well as some little facts on the right of the journal view. And if you still have any doubts, the comments are your best friends, since they really love to talk about themselves and their daily adventures, and do get sad when others appear to be ignoring them.

So to close this feature and before you throw me a "thank you for featuring me" and walk away, remember it is me (or better said, the girls) who are actually thanking you for the little time it took you to come here and comment. And believe me, they do get excited every time someone does! They're really happy this time not only because of how many people came and talked to them, but because many of you are here for the first time and really wish to see you again on a future feature.
