VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL ABAJO

Today (if you still read it today) it was the the last day of my life as I've known it up to now.

No, I'm not graduating from college yet (still 3 semesters remain), nor am I moving from my current home or taking another trip like last year to Canada, or planning to quit my drawings.

As the title says, I'm going to start with my first serious job, formally and full time, in an established company during the rest of the year. At least I've been on vacation for the last two months, so it's not kind of a big deal to start over.

Nothing is going to happen with college, don't worry. In fact I'm having this job thanks to an agreement they make with local companies, where instead of attending lectures and taking exams like a normal student does, you work full time during the semester and it counts as credits to revalidate the subjects you'd have taken in August.

Despite this change, I'll try to do my best to keep drawing. Now perhaps I'll be launching new drawings every second week, instead of weekly, since I'm going to have less free time. But everything depends on how tired and inspired I return home from the job and if my parents exploit me less than before as a result.

And when I finish this internship... well, to be explained later as it comes closer.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

So the job is kind of part of your studies? Like a "co-op" program that some universities have? (where related work is done in lieu of or addition to classes for some semesters)

congrats and good luck. : D
:iconyitzin:
It's an option you can take while studying, though of course you need to be in at least a certain semester to apply. And there are two ways you can participate: in addition to classes and in lieu of them as you said. I chose the latter one because that way you can focus on your work and don't let upcoming assignments and exams distract you

Thanks!

Welcome to an experience where friendship has no limits...

Let's save tourism in Mexico by saying no to Cancun (and environs) and yes to places like Veracruz. Who agrees?
:iconyitzin:
Thanks! Let's see how I finish tomorrow once I pass my first day :D

LA MUERTE ES CIERTA... SU HORA INCIERTA... SOLO QUEDA ESPERARLAR...

Character Profiles

SHANNON
She comes from an orphanage in Ireland since she lost both parents as a baby. Being raised outside of a traditional family sine, this helped her to trust in other people as long as she finds them kind enough. That's why she loves to make friends and care about them, and makes a great effort to fit herself among different kinds of people. Despite being very mature and patient, she tries not to forget her child side and often asks others to play with her as any other girl her age would like to.

MARI FER :poke:
She finds a great opportunity to escape from a dysfunctional life after joining the other girls. This life included being affectively neglected by her parents and not allowed to have friends in her hometown. Because of this, she's frequently the "cry baby" of the group since she can't easily stand not being considered, because this reminds her how much her parents neglected her. She also gets easily bored if nobody wants to play with her, that's why she's playing almost all the time. As you have seen in her clothes, her favourite stuff are cats and cherries! She's also very funny and cute despite making a couple of tantrums now and then...

LUDY :highfive:
One of the most cheerful girls you might find around, besides Shannon. She tends to be very active, but can calm down if needed. That's why you might always find her playing with a ball or other interesting item, either by herself or someone else. She likes sports a lot, especially tennis where she's practically invincible. That's why she often practices with a paddle ball, up to 150 bounces without losing the ball! As with Mari Fer, but not on an extreme case, she also hates to be excluded where something.

AIDA :aww:
Perhaps the cutest girl you might find in a while. She has the cutest voice and the "girliest" outfits, which include a strong reject for pants, primarily influenced because she never knew her father. Despite being the youngest, she hardly ever cries for anything unless it's something very emotional like feeling all alone. As you've seen, she loves to make cakes and other delicious desserts which leave everyone who tries them surprised because of their deliciousness.

DORA :headbang:
The tomboy of the group, she won't wear anything she finds "girly" such as any kind of skirt, and likes to play with boys. Affected by the death of her father, she tends to be kind of reserved when it comes to relationships, but actually you'll find out she's easy-going as the other girls if she trusts you despite her rebellious appearance. Together with her sister Aida, they're the only ones in the group who live with a parent (their mother).

SITA :nana:
Well... here we are with the group's "black sheep". Coming from a seaside village, she loves anything related to the beach, especially surfing. Obviously this influences the way she dresses, which sometimes includes walking around the house with nothing but her undies and an unzipped cover-up robe (in this case don't ever attempt to zip up her robe!) or a swimsuit. She likes to annoy the other girls and to go against them whenever she finds the opportunity (and whenever her potential victim is free), especially Nuria and Dora who sometimes tend to get mad at her jokes. It's said that the more irritating Sita becomes, the stronger her need to surf, so you already know what to do in case you can't stand her anymore...

NURIA
In every group there's always someone who knows a lot about technical stuff, well despite all being young girls this one isn't an exception and Nuria is that person. She can help you almost with anything, including mechanical, computer, plumbing, and other similar stuff. What annoys her the most is when Sita messes around when she fixes something or wrecks stuff so that she fixes it. Her outfits are always one piece, such as dresses or jumpsuits, and can be either plain for work and play or lavish for special occasions. Just watch out, she can be grumpy at times, especially if you tell her she's hot.

FLORA
And finally, the clumsy girl. Now and then she might act a bit slow or dumb and trip or bump with something, but she never does it on purpose. It's also reflected in her voice which is usually slow and lazy. That tends to happen when she spends a long time indoors, since she's not very used to it. But anyways, she's usually very cute in her way to dress which include peasant-insipired tops and jeans, as well as in her way to be because she loves hugging and have close contact with others.

THE SURFER GALS
Their names are Lillian, Celia and Renata. They live on a remote resort village known among surfers, because of its excellent year-round weather to practice this sport. Of they three, only Lillian (left) knows surfing; Celia (in red pants) is the daughter of the main resort's owner and Renata (in blue)... well, maybe you won't like to know more about her :o

You can draw them too!

Yes, as the title says, you're totally free to draw my girls at anytime. However, as in any place, some rules apply. Don't worry, they aren't that hard to follow and some might even sound obvious to you, but anyways here they are:

SUGGESTIONS
  • Be your own. That means, draw them on your own style, don't try to copy either mine or someone else's. Remember that whether you have or not your own OCs, your style is what makes your art unique among others.

  • Try to respect each girl's color schemes regarding skin, hair, eyes, and so.

  • While not a must, get to know the character(s) you want to draw. That can help you to learn about how she likes to dress and her personality. Both my gallery and the profiles above this rules are your best friends. Or myself via comment or note if you have any doubts.

  • Don't tell me what character(s) do you want to draw! I enjoy it better when it's a surprise.

YOU'RE FREE TO
  • Include another character, yours or someone else's in your drawing

  • Play with their outfits and hair styles, even if they're not what they usually wear, as long as the outfit abides to the other rules

  • Draw something ecchi or pin-up, but keep it very softcore please. Topless, upskirt, falling or pulled-off clothes, unbuttoned/unzipped outfits, for example are fine as long as it's not overdone

PLEASE AVOID THESE
  • Sexually explicit content (lolicon) or, as you know it, rule 34

  • FULL nudity (no panties), front or back, or very skimpy outfits showing crotch and/or nipple lines

  • Racist or hate themes, either towards a particular character (mine or not) or group

  • Violence, gore, or similar, be it on a sexual manner or not

  • Homo couples (yuri), either among my characters or others. Doesn't fit when your main theme is friendship right?

WHAT YOU MUST ALWAYS DO :stop:
  • Submit your finished drawing to deviantART, so that I can add it to my fanart collection

  • Give me credit on your artist's comments. (character) by *Yitzin is enough, but not needed IF you mention me on any other part of your comment. The same applies if you use someone else's character.

  • Have fun!

Don't want to add it as a journal entry because I want this to be permanently featured on my page.
